DR ERROL INGRAM    PhD COMS ROMSA

Senior Orientation & Mobility Specialist/Services Manager

My Approach:

My approach is based on my doctoral research into the lived experience of acquiring life skills with blindness/vision impairment.  As a nationally registered and internationally certified O&M Specialist with over 30 years’ experience, I strive to use my expertise to empower, enrich and improve the lives of people living with blindness and vision impairment.  My goal is to maximise each person’s capacity for safe, effective, and independent mobility.  In order to achieve that goal, I work closely with clients to make sure that the O&M services that I deliver are meaningful to them in their everyday lives.  In addition, I constantly challenge taken for granted and outdated approaches/attitudes towards living with blindness and vision impairment.
